Reflective Narrative:
This course taught me how to use some tools to help prepare me when studying abroad. For example, when it comes to cultural shock or when it comes to learning more of the target language we can use certain skills such as jotting down some of the big main Japanese vocabulary words that we did not understand and try to learn them. We also done a project called LESCANT where
L- stand for Language
E- stands for Environment
S- stands for Social Organization
C- stands for Context
A- stands for Authority
N- stands for Non Verbal
T- stands for Time
When is comes to social organization we learned about how we can learn about what is going on in a situation and what the social rules are in society just by looking at the social organization of a environment.
