JAPAN 304: Introduction to Translation and Introduction
Course Description: This course gives students the skills it takes to interpreting and translating the Japanese foreign language such as rapid reading, analyzing, summarizing, shadowing and paraphrasing.Students also learns some of the issues that Occurs with interpreting and translation.

Course Reflection: While taking this course I used a textbook that had maps, news paper articles, paragraphs, signs, and instructions that I had to find information about by learning how to translate and read the information that was the most important. I also learned how to interpret and translate alot of recordings along with learning how to gain the skills it takes in order to take short hand notes when interpreting and translating.
