Japan 201: Intermediate Japanese 1
Course Description: This course is a continuation of Japnaese 102 in developing students langugae skills to a intermediate level of the Japnaese language after taking the Japanese course 102 where students practice the relationships between the practices products and relationships within the japanese culture and compare them to their own culture's practices , products and relationships.

Reflection Narrative:
During this course I learned about some of the Japanese cultural beliefs when it comes to religion and spiritual beliefs and then connecting the language that relates to their beliefs. For example, In this class we learned about yokai and how Japnaese people have different language forms for things that are tangible and things that are non tangible. For example, We sometimes say the door opens up by itself in english but in Japanese they say the door opens or I opened the door. When the Japnaese have non tangible grammer to talk about certain items that gives it human characteristics it shows how they believe in spiritual things.
