JAPN 305: Introduction to Japanese Culture and Civilization
Course Description: This course teaches students about the varies wide range aspects of the Japanese culture such as history, geography, religion, government, politics, customs and traditions. This course focus on the tokugawa period and how that relates to the modern history of Japan's society today.

Reflection Narrative:
When taking this course I learned about the different types of food that Japeses people eat with in their culture such as udon noodle soup along with the geography of Japan and the different types of foods that are the most popular in different regions. When learning about the different regions in Japan I learned that there are different prefectures in Japan and about the geography of these different prefecture such as wether or not it has more forest areas or if it is near the beach and ocean and the type of temperatures it gets up to in each region.
